Ah, the Drama

Up until this point, all of my posts have revolved around the aviation aspect of the site and not the student portion. So this shall be the first. As a full-time student and a full-time entry level airline employee, I don't bring home much money. With four small mouths to feed, we need little help from time to time. We use WIC. That does not mean we are dead beats. So why does the checkout lady at King Soopers take a verbal dumping on my wife over the WIC order? Does our reproduction offend you? Are you mad at your parents? I know we are a single consumer and our few hundred bucks a month doesn't matter too much to the store, but this kind of thing makes me want to start using the Super Wal-Mart.

Well, you know the checkout lady represents the upper eschelon of society. After all, her social standing allows her to judge all that come before her. bahahahaha. What was it they said about the pot calling the kettle black?

I hope you guys said something to her. Comments like that shouldn't be tolerated. Doesn't she have something better to arguing over her petty health benefits?

I wouldn't sweat it man. Once you graduate and get a "real" job, these encounters will seem pretty trivial.

I honestly don't think people understand how expensive kids are. My wife and I are having a child here in the next couple of weeks. The start up costs alone are unbelievable. The kid isn't even born yet, and we are already broke. I can't imagine what it must be like with 4 kids...we will be financially strapped with one.
